| Four
wheeling in the Telluride
area is world class for
good reason. Volcanoes
and glaciers formed these
majestic and captivating
mountains long ago. The
Ute Indians then inhabited
this area for centuries
before precious gold and
silver were discovered
by pioneering prospectors
Hard rock mining operations
were responsible for the
boom towns of Telluride,
Ouray, Silverton, and
many others that have
now become lost ghost
towns.

Mule teams and wagons
were needed to transport
the ore and supplies to
remote, high elevation
camps in this area. Lucky
for us today we can still
access much of the high
country on these very
same historic routes.
Our Pinzgauers are well
suited to reach places
that are impossible to
get in most vehicles,
so that you can experience
our past history and present
beauty up close and personal.
